Medicinal Signaling Cells

Mesenchymal Stem Cells | Medicinal Signaling Cells (MSCs)

Mesenchymal Stem Cells or now referred to as Medicinal Signaling Cells Therapy (MSCs) is a form of regenerative medicine that has grabbed the attention of doctors and scientists with its power to heal damaged tissue, reduce inflammation, and jumpstart the healing process.

These unique cells have the ability to develop into connective tissue and other needed components of the body, mesenchymal stem cells have been in use in medicine for over a decade, and are at the forefront of regenerative medicine applications for many health conditions.

MSCs can differentiate and morph into bone, tendons, muscle, cartilage, and fat (adipose) tissue. Found primarily in bone marrow and skeletal tissue, mesenchymal stem cells have the ability to self-renew (regenerate) and therefore are very effective in treating symptoms and ailments.

For people suffering from a degenerative joint disease like osteoarthritis, or the effects of a traumatic injury where irreversible loss of cartilage can lead to chronic pain and permanent joint damage, MSCs can be used to help restore the lost cartilage and prevent further damage to the joint.

In aesthetic medicines and procedures, Medicinal Signaling Cell therapy offers patients a chance to see and feel results without undergoing expensive and invasive plastic surgery.

How do MSCs affect the Human Body?

The human body has a tremendous capacity for healing itself in a quick and efficient manner when conditions are conducive to this process. However, healing takes time, in normal, day to day life, and activities, there are a number of common conditions and stresses that can further prolong the duration of healing. This can range from internal biological and most commonly, environmental sources.

MSCs and PRP therapy have been shown to accelerate tissue healing which can help speed up and shorten the recovery time after injuries and medical procedures. This means less pain, less stress with the ability to return to normal activities of daily living with less risk of complications such as infection, stiffness, blood clots, etc, the list goes on and on.

How will I feel after the treatment?

Many people have reported being able to return to work the next day following your procedure. We request that you take it easy with your body, activities and avoid any load-bearing functions for at least two weeks following your procedure.

You will need to refrain from taking non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDS) for a while as this can affect the healing process of your body.

Risks & Complications –

MSC therapy is generally considered a safe procedure with minimal complications, however, as with any medical procedure, complications can occur and we are here to guide you through the entire process.

Rarely, an immune reaction may occur from injected stem cells.
